About Julia
I became a therapist because I believe no one should have to navigate difficult moments alone. When your thoughts feel overwhelming, anxiety begins to take over, or you feel disconnected from yourself, it can be difficult to put what you’re experiencing into words or know where to turn.
I believe therapy should feel like a partnership. I'm not here to control the process or tell you what you should be doing. I'm here to help you understand yourself, make sense of what's happening, and figure out what steps will move you toward the life you want.
My approach is warm, validating, casual, and goal-oriented. I want you to feel comfortable enough
to be honest with me, while also knowing that we'll actively work toward change.
I'll sit with you when things are hard. I'll help you slow things down when everything feels overwhelming. And when you're ready, I'll help you move forward.
Because I don't believe therapy is simply about feeling better for an hour.
I want you to leave therapy with tools you can take with you into your actual life.

My Areas of Specialty:
OCD & Intrusive Thoughts
When your brain constantly asks “What if?”, it can be exhausting. I work with individuals experiencing OCD, intrusive thoughts, and compulsive patterns, helping you understand what's happening and develop healthier ways of responding to uncertainty and distress.
Most importantly, having an intrusive thought doesn't make you a bad, dangerous, or “crazy” person. You are not your thoughts, and you don't have to face them alone.
Anxiety & Panic
Anxiety can make even everyday situations feel overwhelming. Whether you're experiencing constant worry, physical symptoms of anxiety, panic attacks, or fear of losing control, we'll work together to help you feel more confident navigating those experiences.
Phobias & Fear
Fear can become incredibly limiting when it starts dictating what you can and cannot do. Therapy can help you understand your fear, build confidence, and gradually move toward the things that matter to you.
Emotional Regulation
Sometimes emotions feel bigger than you know how to handle. I help clients understand their emotional patterns and develop healthier ways to experience and respond to difficult emotions without feeling consumed by them.
Life Transitions
Change can bring excitement, uncertainty, and everything in between. Whether you're navigating a new relationship, career, school, independence, or another major chapter, therapy can give you space to understand what you're feeling and figure out where you want to go next.
